Every project starts with fundraising, and over the years I have raised millions for commercial and charity projects.
For White & Givan I secured over £125k in 2022 for the company to present its work and develop new strands to make it more sustainable. Fundraising is a partnership. Building trust and understanding between partners is key to the collaboration working for both parties. |
I like working with talented people. I am good at bringing people together and making things happen. For example my work on the Sharing Secrets Festival and with Goat and Katrina Macpherson to create A Dance Explosion.
I am an award winning dance film director and internationally renowned creative producer, touring shows around the world. I started choreographing at the age of 14 and have worked on many dance shows and projects, such as The Ripple Project and A Scottish Family Christmas. I act as a creative eye for the dancers that I work with, as well as documenting their work through my photography |
I provide one to one support for business development, advice on fundraising, international touring and stakeholder development.
"You have moved our company on 5 years in one hour!" - Suzanne Lofthus, Cutting Edge Theatre With Dalry Primary School I acted as a Creative Catalyst to help them set up processes to allow them to brainstorm and start new projects, allowing them to develop as a Creative hub, supported by Education Scotland. We set up the Sharing Secrets Festival to celebrate the creative community in Dalry and Gorgie.

Facilitation and Chairing |
Sometimes you can't see the wood for the trees. I am good at helping people see the big picture as well as the small details. I support organisations to be aspirational and to plan how to get there.
For example, you may need to find out how your stakeholders think you are doing - internally and externally - in order to plan the future. Imaginate wanted to identify a new strategic direction, so commissioned Ripple Arts to undertake consultation with festival attenders, peers, politicians, local authority officers and influencers, allowing them to manage change and revitalise the organisation. |
I will work with you to identify research that you need to do to make things happen and the questions you need to ask to see if it worked. If you are too busy to do it yourself, I can do it for you.
While with the British Council, I led on gathering evidence and research to monitor and inform our Gulf Culture and Sport programme. Stills Centre for Photography wanted advice on how to commercialise its business and diversify its income stream. Ripple Arts, with specialist tour operator Rabbies, explored how photography tours might form part of its business. |
If you need help with ensuring a critical meeting is effective, helping a team solve a challenge or running a workshop, facilitation can help to achieve results.
I provide independent guidance, ensuring opinions and views are listened to and captured to ensure sustainable strategies are created. |
