Celebrating Creative Communities
Gorgie/Dalry/Haymarket

 Following the inaugural festival last year, we are pleased to announce that we have received some Celebrate Big Lottery money to run our second festival. We aim to take the festival into more spaces in the community and to continue to celebrate creativity in the area. 

We are building the programme at the moment, so if you live or work in the area and have something that you would like to share, please get in touch.

As Dalry Primary are the instigators of the festival, some of the activity will be just for the school children. However, the creativity inside the school will be seeping out with artwork hung around the area and open activities for parents and public at the school.

There will be activities for all ages and activities will happen from Haymarket to Saughton Park. 

We hope to make it an annual event, so please come along and support the festival and share this message with your friends, family and colleagues.

• Leveling opportunities for children/adults who come from challenged or disadvantaged backgrounds
• Showcasing children and adult’s work, building success and confidence
• Promoting positive destinations and providing a range of high quality opportunities and experiences for the local community
• Building a stronger supportive community
• Placing Dalry Primary School at the heart of the community
